What I Wore… 21st July 2014

I have some flat viewings this evening and apparently its going to rain so I have gone with my New Look boots just in case and my Oasis dress to give a good first impression… hopefully!

For hair and makeup I used batiste and brushed and then left it down and put on gel eyeliner and mascara.

What I Wore… 22nd July 2014

I am really liking this Asos dress now I think I just had to commit and wear it that first time and be brave. Now I don’t see why I built it up so much, its fine! I’ve worn it my H&M pink blazer my Oasis belt and my Steve Madden sandals, it was so comfy and breezy and I got to sit out in the blazing sun and not turn into a puddle, it was lovely.

For hair and makeup I twisted a front section of hair and pinned it back and put on mascara.

Oh and what do you think necklace or no necklace?

What I Wore… 23rd July 2014

I have on an old Zara dress it’s made of a heavy jersey and it used to be a little tight around the chest so I haven’t really wanted to wear it but I am getting sick of wearing the same dresses in this heat so I thought I’d bring it out and it was actually really nice to wear! It’s a little heavier and more structured than some of my other dresses so I wasn’t worried about it blowing up which made a nice change! I wore it with my Oasis orange belt and had to take a break from sandals and put on my comfy plimsolls with socks!

For hair and makeup I did two small plaits on each side of my parting and pinned them to the back of my head and put on Rio Rio Topshop lipstick and mascara.

What I Wore… 8th July 2014

I have had this dress lying on top of my chair to push me into wearing it for about 2 weeks now and I have finally got around to it. Its from Asos and I wore it with my brown studded belt from Oasis and my New Look boots. I had to make sure to keep my jacket on at work as I didn’t realise quite how low cut it was!

For hair and makeup I braided a fishtail plait with a front section of hair leaving the rest down and put on mascara.

Anyone else have a item of clothing they have been meaning to wear?

I’ve gone back to flats the boots were a little too much yesterday my feet were roasting by the time I got home so I have my blue plimsolls on today with my t-shirt dress from Oasis, a belt from Urban Outfitters and my H&M blazer.

For hair and makeup I haven’t put in much effort as I am still trying to convince myself to go swimming at lunch I’ve got a bit of mascara on from yesterday and I put on some Show off Topshop lipstick. I also brushed and Babtised my hair this morning And put on some nail varnish last night its from Topshop and called Geography Teacher!

What I Wore … 14th May 2014

What a difference a day makes huh! That still makes me think of Scrubs. Today what you see is what I left the house in, no coat, no scarf, no other warming items. It looked lovely out the window this morning and the weather is still sticking with the mostly sunny verdict so I thought I’d risk it because I am such a rebel… I have my umbrella in my bag…

I’ve got on my H&M blazer, my Oasis t-shirt dress with an old belt that I think is from New Look, tights from M&S and my New Look lace up boots!

For my make-up I put on gel eyeliner and mascara.

Anyone else risk it this morning?

What I Wore … 30th April 2014

Umm why is it the end of April already!!! To see the month out I’m in all black wearing my Asos black jeans, my Topshop boots and an Oasis top I got for £10 in the sale, love Oasis’ sales!! And I am loving their Tropical Forest collection the playsuit is so cool!

For hair and makeup I back combed the back of my crown and put on the ol’ trusty Show off lipstick from Topshop because I am feeling really confident I can pull it off lately. I am loving the sunshine we have been getting and was it really misty for anyone else this morning?

What I Wore… 28th March 2014

My leather look dress I got in the sale at Oasis, similar in the sale on now. Tights from M&S. My Pull and Bear wedge trainers, these available in the sale. I have also borrowed a jumper as I had no decent ones left so I am wearing a guys multi knit jumper from ASOS. My statement necklace!

For my hair I’ve been reading a lot that you should use dry shampoo before you go to bed so I tried that and then brushed it this morning. Can’t really tell a difference but it’s one less task to do in the morning!

See the new in at oasis here.

  1. Colourblock Shirt Dress - cute work dress that you can easily smarten up or keep young and youthful.
  2. Skye Satchel - gorgeous colour and great for spring and summer which, fingers crossed, is just around the corner!
  3. T-Shirt Midi Dress - I just got this and I love it, it is so easy to wear, comfy and simple to dress up and down. I can already tell that it will be great in summer because its loose and cool.
  4. Broderie T-Shiirt - I like this a lot, the detailing is so cool it would be great with some patterned jeans or trousers which oasis have as well!

The Great Work Bake Off

This year my work has partnered with the charity St. Mungo's to raise money for the homeless. One of their money making schemes was a Great Work Bake Off and the theme was for your cake to be decorated to represent your department. All of the entries were fantastic and tasted amazing.

Announcing the winner!

Which was of course the sewing themed cake for looking incredible, having a great texture and tasting amazing, according to our judge.

I also got to show off my new Oasis top

Worn with a cardigan stolen from my mum to keep me warm in the office.
