What I Wore… 1st August 2014

We are going to see the biggest flat we can afford today and I am soooooo excited. It looks amazing in the pictures and the dimensions make it seem it will live up to expectations. I don’t completely trust pictures anymore they are incredible at angling something to make it look completely different.

For the viewing and for the questionable weather I have gone with my Forever 21 patterned trousers, my Miss Selfridge plain top and my Steve Madden sandals. I even put in a little more effort and put on a necklace! Don’t know if you noticed so I’m pointing it out! It is my Pull and Bear one and I though it would go well with this?

For hair and makeup I used my weekly Pantene 2 minute colour rescue in the shower last night and brushed this morning, put on Rimmel with Kate Moss 107 red lipstick and mascara.

Have a lovely weekend and a fantastic first day of the month!

What I Wore … 31st July 2014

I booked a house viewing yesterday for Friday and it was the First of August!!!! August!!!! Christmas is coming people and way too quickly! Today I am wearing the outfit I chickened out on yesterday it is a New Look vest with my Topshop skirt and Steve Madden sandals. I was so hot on the tube yesterday that I think this outfit is actually pretty perfect and I love a floaty skirt makes me feel grown up.

For hair and makeup I took two sections of hair from each side of my parting and twisted then tied then together at the back of my head and pushed the band over on itself. I also put on Rimmel gel eyeliner, mascara and Show Off Topshop lipstick.

What I Wore… 29th July 2014

Meant to be 27 today!!!! And its already boiling on the tube I regretted not having any water! Today I have gone with my strappy H&M dress to try and get some sunshine at lunch and even out some tan lines and my Steve Madden sandals. I also put on my blue Zara jacket as it was a little windy and grey this morning and the weather has been wrong soooo many time recently.

For hair and makeup I brushed out my hair (totally turned into a puff ball, luckily it calmed down on the journey into work) then used batiste dry shampoo, put on mascara and Show off Topshop lipstick.

What I Wore… 22nd July 2014

I am really liking this Asos dress now I think I just had to commit and wear it that first time and be brave. Now I don’t see why I built it up so much, its fine! I’ve worn it my H&M pink blazer my Oasis belt and my Steve Madden sandals, it was so comfy and breezy and I got to sit out in the blazing sun and not turn into a puddle, it was lovely.

For hair and makeup I twisted a front section of hair and pinned it back and put on mascara.

Oh and what do you think necklace or no necklace?

What I Wore... 15th July 2014

Today I have on one so my holiday dresses, it's from H&M and its patterned, has pockets and a muscle back so I love it! It is also a great length for the office I didn't feel at all self conscious. I wore it with my COS jacket and my Steve Madden sandals for a bit of colour.

For hair and makeup I twisted two front sections of hair and put on mascara and Rio Rio Topshop lipstick.

Would you have worn jewellery with this dress, I am the worst jewellery person so I'm trying to get some tips?

What I Wore ... 14th July 2014

Today I have on my old Asos dress with a Peter Pan collar, it is so comfy and so good at hiding my sunburnt neck! Camping was a little sunnier than I expected last weekend but I'll tell you all about that another time. I've worn it with my Steve Madden sandals and it kept me comfortable all day even on the tube and sitting out in the sunshine at lunch.

For hair and make-up I brushed and put on mascara.

How was everyone else's weekend?

What I Wore… 5th July 2014

I went to a house party to see a friend’s new flat last night, it is lovely and right by London Fields! So I am travelling over to my boyfriends today. I haven’t been brave enough to wear this skirt to work yet, I don’t know why, but thought today would be a good time to give it an outing. It is from … and I wore it with a basic Asos vest and my River Island tee along with my Steve Madden sandals.

For hair I just shoved it all up into a bun which was lucky because it was windy!

What I Wore… 7th July 2014

I very unsubtly got told my skirt was a little too short on Friday but have since been reassured by people my age that it was okay. For today I thought I had better wear trousers and have on my Forever 21 patterned trousers with a Topshop black vest and my Steve Madden blue sandals.

For hair and makeup I brushed my hair and put on mascara.

What I Wore... 2nd July 2014

Its gonna be a hot one today! I think I may melt on the tube and I am still loving getting to go bare legged to show off some of my running work! Today I am wearing an old H&M dress that I mainly wear on holidays or when it gets hot in England so not very often! I've worn it with my Steve Madden bright blue sandals and my Zara jacket.

For hair and makeup I had another go at the waterfall braid technique I saw but it still didn't work! I gave up in the end and just threaded a piece of hair from the top of my head through the plait as I plaited. I also put on some Show off Topshop lipstick and mascara.

What I Wore … 24th June 2014

Back from holiday!! It was lovely, ten days of relaxing and sunshine in Madeira , I’m going to do a post soon of my favourite outfits once I’ve got around to washing them but for now I’m enjoying the English sunshine in a new Zara top. It’s really comfy and coped well on the tube in the heat, I’m wearing it with my Asos jeans and H&M blazer and new Kurt Geiger sandals that I got for holiday and I am so pleased with as they didn’t need painfully wearing in at all they were just fine from the start! Think I’ll head out at lunch time and get some sunshine to try and keep my semblance of a tan! Anyone else have to treat getting a tan as a military precision mission?

For hair and makeup I did a backwards French plait and just put on mascara, I’m still on holiday in my head I don’t need makeup up!
